Inspired by Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy
Afterwards of fall, the only way that remains is the rise.
Possessed movement in circles.
In the structure of a unified and complete dancing performance, which is based on the bodily action and the performer’s expression, one can distinguish the blending of the circus techniques (land and air acrobatic performances that relate to the creation and utilization of a three dimensional space), the variety of the performers’ manifestation, (fusing together elements of irony, tragicomedy and self-sarcasm to create drama), and the particular extrovert feature of the performance itself.

Thoughts on a contemporary circus-dance performance
Dimitra Grous/Athens Voice.
A moment of art. Snapshots in sequence from the beginning until the end. A succession of movements in a sound canvas, art of time.
Everything takes the precedents’ place, something goes something comes, a succession of incidents dispersed to space. There is no blackmailing of your attention. The eye chooses where to look, wins something loses something, stranded, fascinated, it returns. Light bodies that are heavy at the same time. They obey, more than anything, to the law of gravity and ignore it at the same time. Bodies that move with difficulty, passing through each other, under each other, in pairs, in threes, alone, hug each other, fall to the floor, a mass of moving bodies, searching one another, passing by, bodies that are attracted to each other and averted at the same time, disperse, fall to some other body, and everything starts all over again.
